Alexander Caballero Díaz is a Peruvian photographer that made use of the camara as an instrument of knowledge, understanding, and integrating.

In these ten photographs Alexander shows that positioning himself as a spectator, his eye in front of the camera learns and fantasies about a feminine world. It is a space where the feminine ideals are an expression of beauty. Alexander’s eye is not a fetish one, it is not an eye that interrupts a private space, but it is an eye that romanticizes and melancholies his world.

As creator with photography media, Alexander transforms the object and/or the photographic subject in something beautiful, in something more than a substance. He reproduces what he sees and dreams, as a photographer he incarnates his personal world but that he does not know in its totality without the process of photography. The world of his woman is the one of his memory

and his identity.

By this means, photography is aim by Alexander as an instrument of knowledge and understanding. The photographic camera is the master for the photographer itself, it is the result, the image itself, the memory, and the instrument to expose an idyllic space.
